What We Need:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to handle accounts payable processing and other administrative accounting functions for our North American divisions.

Some responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):

• Processes supplier invoices through internal accounting systems ensuring payment of invoices in a timely fashion utilizing terms as efficiently as possible
• Maintains and updates the accounts payable voucher files
• Processes weekly payments via check, virtual card, and wire payment methods
• Coordinates purchase order processing including matching receipts, resolving discrepancies, and tracking prepayments
• Reconciles designated general ledger accounts by reviewing balances and supporting transactions
• Reconciles and ensures data accuracy of received not vouched reporting
• Reviews transactions for accuracy
• Researches and resolves receiving and pricing discrepancies with internal and external suppliers
• Assists with identifying correct accounts as necessary
• Prepares monthly closing of payables for all North American divisions
• Assists in the monthly and yearend closing process
• Provides assistance as needed for preparation of financial statement reporting
• Generates suggestions to improve work
• Participates in and supports continuous improvement activities
• Assists in other duties as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• An individual with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent related experience.
• An indiviual with a minimum 2 to 5 years of previous experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• An individual who has intermediate proficiency of MS Office.
• An individual who is organized, accurate, and detail oriented. Must be able to coordinate a number of projects at any given time in order to meet established deadlines.
• An individual who has the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• An individual who can appropriately handle confidential information.
• An individual who has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills needed to establish good working relationships with others in and out of the company.
• An individual who excels at working effectively with employees, as well as outside contacts such as external auditors and vendors.
• An individual who has experience working with an ERP business system is preferred. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience a plus.

• This position will begin as a 100% onsite position but may transition to a hybrid work schedule.

The salary range for this position, based on experience or relevant education, is between $42,000-$51,000 per year plus a 5% annual bonus potential.
