We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department. This position is the primary HR Generalist for Merchandising staff and leadership, both in the field and the office. In addition, they will be a shared resource for Home Office staff and leadership and support Transportation. Coach and advise on employee relations. Ensure consistency and fairness in the administration of company policies and procedures. Manage recruiting for all Home Office positions. Support in the development and implementation of company-wide HR policies, programs and training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops and implements creative recruiting strategies and programs.
  • Oversees data entry of new hires and terminations for merchandisers.
  • Provides coaching and HR guidance to field supervisors.
  • Partners with Transportation leaders for labor planning and recruitment.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
  • Coordinates company training and programs in areas such as performance management, promotions, hiring, terminations, sexual harassment and other topics.
  • Lead recruiter on Home Office positions for posting and/or outsourcing.
  • Manage recruiting tools such as really, LinkedIn, Team Engine and the Criteria assessment tool.
  • Draft all offer letters, company-wide and with a quick turnaround.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and training.
  • Ensures positive employee relations, morale, and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Promotes a harassment-free work environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Human Resources generalist experience with emphasis on recruiting and employee relations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • HRIS experience preferred.
  • HR Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work in an office environment.
  • May require long hours sitting in front of a computer.

PAY RANGE: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
