Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Department: Dispatch

Reports To: Dispatch Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the dispatch of tow trucks to remove and transport junk cars from various locations. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a strong commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch: Receive incoming service requests. Dispatch tow trucks to pick up junk cars from specified locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries and requests for junk car removal services professionally and courteously. Gather necessary information such as location, vehicle details, and customer contact information.

Driver Coordination: Maintain constant communication with tow truck drivers, providing them with job details and directions to pickup locations.

Scheduling: Optimizing routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.

Record Keeping: Accurately record service requests, job progress, and customer information in the dispatch system. Maintain organized logs for reporting and future reference.

Vehicle Tracking: Monitor the location and status of tow trucks in real-time using GPS and tracking software. Address any delays or issues promptly.

Documentation: Ensure all necessary paperwork, including release forms and receipts, is completed accurately, and filed appropriately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, Must Speak English.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work calmly and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Determined mindset and effective problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Orlando, FL 32824: Relocate before starting work (Required)
