Position Overview:

This position is responsible for assisting in the build of the PR strategy, including all brand communications (organic paid influencer marketing, VIP strategy, long and short lead press) to build brand awareness for our Maje brand in order to drive traffic to both Retail Stores Ecommerce.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist Marketing & Public Relations Manager in defining the earned media strategy, including VIP KOL and Media, linking it with broader Marketing and business strategy and in line with Global teams based in Paris.
• Assess, build, and enable the critical network of the relevant press, stylists, talent managers, celebrities, KOLs, and communities to support marketing and business goals
• Collaborate with our VIP agency to select the talents that will resonate the most with Maje
• Develop and communicate/pitch all North American written communications (press releases, email pitches, etc.)
• Adapt all HQ press kits, news releases, social media strategies, and other communications to North American needs
• Coordinate sample requests & deliveries to and from Paris HQ, media outlets, styling appointments, and press days in Paris and LA.
• Develop monthly earned media recap to identify best practices and track ROI

Who You Are:

• 2 years of experience in the Fashion industry
• Contacts and relations with relevant press, talents, and leaders in Fashion.
• Proven success designing and executing communications strategies and campaigns
• Must be able to think analytically and strategically
• Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve
• Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
• Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
• Familiarity with the Lauchmetrics tool is a plus
• Must be available to work on a "hybrid" work schedule which includes 3 days on-site in our NYC HQ and 2 days remotely.
