Specific responsibilities include:
· Knowledge of direct-to-consumer eCommerce business processes and best practices, in order to inform decision-making processes such as analyzing financial data, forecasting sales trends, developing budgets, monitoring financial performance, providing insights to optimize profitability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategies aligned with business goals.
· Additionally, the role will involve creating financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and supporting decision-making processes within the eCommerce org.
· Trade-in recovery forecasting (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
· Monthly reconciliation of plan vs. actuals for TI contra
· Care revenue accounting
· Other contra revenue forecasting
Background & Competencies Required:
· Strong knowledge of forecast modeling and basic p&l management.
· Prior experience in a consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer preferred but not required.
· Ability to navigate the Samsung organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities
· Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
· 3 - 5 years of equivalent work experience required.
· College degree required.
· Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Tableau preferred.
