THE ROLE
We are now looking for a proactive, energetic Accounts Payable Associate to be part of our small, international, and friendly Finance team. Initially a 7 month fixed-term contract, this role has a lot of scope to grow and develop with the business with an eventual possibility of a permanent contract. You will work closely with our Financial & Control Specialist and support our Head of Finance and CFO, making it a great opportunity to get exposure to all things finance and develop on the job.
YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY
Order processing and purchasing
Organization and booking of incoming invoices
Preparation and processing of payments
Reconciliation of accounts and statements
Acting as the first point of contact for all payment enquiries
Managing all financial incoming enquiries and invoices
General day-to-day administration
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have 3-4 years of experience in Finance and / or Administration, and know your way around VAT and BS reconciliation.
You are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have some basics of Dutch (A2).
You possess solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
You are proactive, adaptable and have a can-do attitude.
You thrive in a busy environment and can multitask.
You live in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
