Sky Climber Access Solutions is seeking a highly motivated team member to manage the design and installation Façade Access and Façade Maintenance systems for new and existing buildings.
This position involves working with the design team, contractors, engineers, and architects throughout the project lifecycle. S/he will be responsible for overseeing project design, estimating costs, execution and ensuring project completion is on time and within budget.
This position will utilize a hands-on approach which requires traveling to project sites to implement equipment installations, inspections, and on-site testing. Further development of labor support through subcontractor relationships and hired staff will be an integral part to the success of this position and the growth of the division.
Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the project design team to help guide the development of Façade Access Systems that meet both compliance and project specific needs.
· Work with the design team and end user to ensure successful project kickoff and completion.
· Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Manage customer purchase order progression to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Assist with organizing and developing internal systems for successful project tracking and scheduling.
· Managing and developing qualified labor utilizing new and existing subcontractors and employees.
· Responsible for internal and customer project reporting as needed.
· Act as customer liaison for project progress and help to develop future business opportunities.
· Support sales efforts as a technical expert in the industry.
· Act as a leader within the company.
· Support operations.
· Support growth of training programs and report documentation.
· Technical assistance in the field (hands on) will be required.
· Enforces safety guidelines and procedures.
· Acts as a safety role model and understands behavioral based safety.
· Understands the technical and practical aspects of the job and helps to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
· Understands construction and basic work practices to help drive efficient cost team models that drive customer satisfaction.
· Assist in managing vendors and subcontractors
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
v Superior ability to collaborate with others, work independently, initiate action, adapt to change, and accept challenging situations
v Results-driven while maintaining honesty and integrity
v Able to manage workload with little supervision
v Minimum 5 yrs. of commercia/industrial construction experience
v Experience with project management and/or construction management
v Well versed in reading construction drawings and understanding project specifications.
v The ability to navigate customer management software such as Procore, Egnyte, or similar.
v Experience using Microsoft Excel and Office
v Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and within budget.
v The ability to travel 50% to 75%
