Skidaway Island State Park is hiring for the position of part-time Maintenance Worker.
We are searching for a friendly, hardworking, self-motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Grounds keeping (mowing, weed-eating, leaf blowing)
- Help Housekeeping/Camp Hosts clean 3 camper cabins/3 yurts, comfort stations, and day use restrooms.
- Inspecting camp sites between check-ins.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Skills useful but not required: light electrical, light plumbing, light carpentry
This position is 29 hours per week. Weekends and some holidays are required. Benefits include a free Park Pass and discounts at Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
