Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journal entries, budgeting, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and record journal entries to accurately reflect business transactions

- Assist in budgeting, invoicing and forecasting processes

- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees

- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies

- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems

- Stay updated on changes in securities laws and regulations that may impact financial reporting

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Proven experience in general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or similar platforms

- Strong knowledge of financial auditing principles and practices

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data
