  • 10 Years Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Comfortability with Budgets, Financial Statements, P&L, etc.

FULL DESCRIPTION: Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Must provide extraordinary service to all of our customers, both internal and external.
  • Direct and manage plant operations for production, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Develop budgets as well as plans to properly manage departmental expenses.
  • Implement cost effective systems of control over operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
  • Control and minimize labor overtime, maintenance and equipment expenses.
  • Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish the division goals and objectives.
  • Implement, build, and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
  • Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
  • Follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • A minimum 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Plus 10 years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
  • Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills (oral and written, ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
  • Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices
  • Computer skills including but not limited to accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, AIB, FDA regulations and loss control program.

Salary Range: $150k-$165k/yr
