CNC Programmer, Aerospace - TalentZok

In this role, you'll be responsible for programming multi axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines and robotic integration, establish and maintain cost effective machine set-up procedures including fixture design, manufacturing process approach and automation and develop net trim flat pattern sheet metal details and related tooling modification as required and improve existing programs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Our clients provide custom-manufactured metal parts and assemblies with unmatched quality and customer service that includes providing hot forming/superplastic forming, hot brake forming of titanium, assemblies/welded assemblies, drop hammer, and tool design/build. This role is focused on the CNC Programming of all types of machined or formed parts, and tooling that are fabricated in-house or furnished by a supplier, using planning and customer requirements with a varied array of inspection equipment, gages, and fixtures.

• 5 - 10 years proven experience in CNC and robotic programming
• Aerospace Industry experience
• Project management
• CMM/PCMM programing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Produce quality CNC programs to accomplish production and quality goals.
• Must be proficient in CNC and robotic programming.
• Capable of reverse engineering, modeling and tool design.
• Able to develop technical drawings and CNC programs per customer's specifications.
• Determine quality requirements to ensure products meet design specifications; modify programs to eliminate errors and meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Spend time on the production shop floor to observe operations, gain process insights, and propose changes on an ongoing basis.
• Practical experience with post process modification.
• Train engineers and operators.
• Responsible for the quality of the design/drawings for each assigned project.
• Analyze design factors including ability to produce, maintain, material costing, and design efficiency.
• Provide technical support to promote continuous improvement activities.
• Proficient in time management and leadership skills.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budget to ensure projects meet initial estimate.
