Job Brief:

We are looking for a competent restaurant server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.

Food server/bartender responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when members/guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Restaurant Server Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet members/customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Up-sell when appropriate
• Arrange table settings
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Requirements and skills:

• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• People skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus but not required

Potential applicants should avoid the job if:

• Food poisoning occurs multiple times during the week (Specially during the weekends)
• Can’t make it in to first shift due to unprecedented circumstances
• If flat tires are a common weekly problem
• You’re not a team player
• Have a cell phone battery that dies constantly, preventing you from contacting us
• Have a cell phone with a cracked screen that prevents you from seeing who you’re calling
• Asking to leave early is the norm
• Have a headache and can’t work after drinking too much Gatorade
• Woke up in a good mood and didn’t want to ruin it by showing up to work
• Are “unable to accept the fact that you get PAID to WORK”

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $16.85 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
