Manager Job details:

General Manager or Assistant Manager for a FedEx Contractor operating a constantly growing operation in St Louis, MO surrounding areas.

We are looking for a seasoned, energetic person, that is organized and detail oriented. Must have experience with other Logistics and or trucking operations. Must have prior experience supervising a team of at least 10 direct reports. Must have strong planning, organizational, and computer skills. Experience managing vehicle fleets is a plus. Must be able to train personnel, plan schedules, review indicators and operational values. If you have worked for FedEx, Amazon, UPS, Amazon DSP or any other similar companies is a plus, but not required.

We are contracted with FedEx Ground to deliver packages in St Louis, MO and surrounding areas. Expect to do 150 stops per day and drive between 40 and 45 miles per day. Our days start at 8 AM and we work full days.

We have iPads with route optimization that allows you to deliver safely without having to look at maps or your phone.

Manager Requirements:

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma.
• Must have at least a Class E license.
• Commercial driving experience and experience supervising a team of at least 10 direct reports.
• Ability to safely lift/ carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
• Pass FedEx criminal background check.
• Clean driving record, no DUI's or excessive speeding.
• Ability to pass drug (includes marijuana) test and DOT physical exam.
