We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator at our corporate office in Huntsville, AL. The Contract Administrator will perform multiple business functions to include contract management. They will manage prime contract awards, assist unit Subcontract Administrator as required, help draft Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, prepare cost estimates, conduct cost analysis and process subcontractor invoices.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelors degree and up to 5 years of related defense contract experience in the administration of U.S. Government Contracts to include Contract Vehicles and Task Orders.
Experience dealing with subcontractors and administering subcontracts is helpful.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a B.S. degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent are required.
Must have the ability to draft contractual documents to include Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, edit T's & C's to suit procurement situations, and handle contract closeouts.
Applicant must possess strong analytical and negotiation skills as well as have the ability to work independently. Must possess basic Microsoft Office skills such as Word and Excel. Proficiency in Deltek Cost Point is a plus.
Experience with Export Control matters is also a plus.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
