Position Title: Quote Analyst (Proposals)
Description:
Using Industry Standard software to send out requests for quotations and collecting the pricing for proposals in a Defense and Aerospace marketplace. The selected individual will be working with a wide range of both manufactures and distributors to achieve competitive pricing, along with negotiating with suppliers to meet the required due dates, then reviewing the pricing to ensure it is complete, accurate, and competitive. A working understanding of the operational requirements in a DoD/Military procurement/proposal system is a requirement. Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills required to review and process the inputs from the various suppliers and the output reports from the system. Knowledge of how to read engineering drawings, understanding of BOMs, ITAR requirements and FTP sites are a plus. 
Requirements: 
• This position requires a background in purchasing and planning 
• Candidate must have a demonstrable skill set in Microsoft Office Suite applications. 
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in related field with a minimum of 8 years related experience.
