Position Summary:

The HR Operations Analyst serves as the primary technical contact and subject matter expert (SME) for the HRIS system. In addition, they play a key role in supporting HR operations through data analysis, process enhancements, and policy implementation.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for designated HRIS products.
  • Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for HRIS systems, including configuration, security, and file/data transfers.
  • Manage user permissions, access, personalization, and settings.
  • Support system releases, enhancements, testing, and technical projects as assigned.
  • Manage HR data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Assist SMEs (and subject matter expert) in maintaining data integrity, report writing, and testing configuration changes.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and unexpected results.
  • Develop and maintain system processes, procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Ensure HRIS compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and complete reporting requirements within deadlines.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate and distribute HR reports and dashboards to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and SMEs to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and produce/review audit reports to confirm data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in HR operations and technology.
  • Provide training and support to users as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years’ experience working in HR, with a focus on HRIS administration and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UKG experience highly preferred
  • Experience working with multi-state state laws/regulations
  • Professional certification, e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Hybrid

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000/Annually to commensurate with experience
