Job summary:
In this position, you are responsible for supporting the creation of marketing and communication materials for our customers and our SIGA sales teams. This is an entry-level position designed to provide growth opportunities.

We are looking for a hands-on marketing coordinator to join team North America. Our vision is to achieve a world of zero energy loss buildings. Will you help us achieve our vision?
Your responsibilities:
· Coordinate with external vendors & internal teams to track marketing projects from initial conception through to completion in department editorial calendars.
· Help track leads through the initial sales cycle/pipeline. Basic data entry.
· Create social media content for Instagram and LinkedIn using Canva, CapCut, etc. Demonstrate a passion for social media marketing and likes to stay on top of trends and suggest ideas to team.
· Help to ensure all SIGA websites and digital platforms remain current and relevant by updating and maintaining website content.
· Upload YouTube content following editorial schedule. Create descriptions, meta tags, thumbnail images, etc.
· Maintain all creative assets, uploading files in our digital asset manager (DAM).
· Keep up with construction & marketing trends and competitors. Learn about the construction industry from internal team members and external experts. Delve into our audience; understanding their goals and challenges.
· Actively participate in content brainstorms.
· Assist with the marketing of our two educational training centers.
· Learn from marketing and business leaders at SIGA. Ask questions. Follow up. We enjoy teaching and providing value to each other, and we want to hear from you.

Your qualifications:
· 1 years’ experience in the marketing or communications industry or shows applicable internship experience. Preference for B2B roles.
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or applicable field.
· Organized and skilled at adopting processes and followings documented instructions.
· You are proficient in English, and you have strong writing skills.
· Experience with creating social media or video content. Preference for B2B.
· Demonstrated passion for marketing. Geek out about marketing with your team! :)
· Go-getter attitude. Not all ideas are great ones, but you never know unless you’re willing to share with the team and take a shot.
· Ability to professionally present and speak with internal teams and external partners.
· Candidate must live in one of the following states (MA, RI, NY, NH, VT,)
· Candidates are required to show a portfolio of work with application.

What does your first year look like?
You will be carrying out the above-mentioned tasks from your home office. However, this position requires travel approx. 3% within the US, Canada, and Switzerland.
· Expect to travel approx. 2 weeks per quarter to visit your North American team members, learn about our customers, and receive continuous training.
· During your first month, you’ll travel to the East Coast (NH) to spend a week learning about the construction industry, our products, etc. from our engineering team and your hiring manager.
· You’ll receive the opportunity to travel and spend 2 weeks in Switzerland at our headquarters around your 1-year SIGA anniversary.
The right candidate for this position will receive a three-year growth plan based on identified strengths and interests approximately 1 year after being with the team.
· After 6-9 months, the right candidate will receive a project or smaller campaign to own with support from the hiring manager.
· You’ll receive marketing education throughout your time at SIGA from your hiring manager and Swiss colleagues.
Interview process:
Step 1: Your application and portfolio of work will be reviewed within 2 weeks of being submitted.
Step 2: If you’re selected to move forward, you will receive an invitation for a 1-hour phone interview with the hiring manager. After the first interview, you’ll hear back from us within 1 week to let you know whether you’ll continue to progress through the interview process.
Step 3: Candidates will be asked to complete a social media content creation skills test. Within approximately 1 week after receiving your skills tests you will learn if SIGA would like to continue the interview process.
Step 4: Candidates will have a 1-hour video interview with the hiring manager and a member of the HR team.
Step 5: A final decision will be made with an offer or rejection within 2 weeks from the second interview.
