JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting PPAP process, CCAR Program, back-up to auditing positions (ROC/LPI) and performs additional support functions as required (investigation reviews of products, etc.)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PPAP
Drive PPAP processes at siffron Rockford site assisting Engineering, Sales and Quality in approval process.
Participate in meetings or conference calls as needed for timely PPAP sample review and approval
Customer Support
Assist quality team with CCAR (customer complaints) investigations to ensure timely resolution and corrective actions for both Rockford and Loves Park facilities.
Support other quality and Rockford plant functions as assigned by manager
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Support, conduct, and oversee Receiving Inspection using Quality Control Plan (QCP) and engineering drawings. In addition, supporting information sources may be used as needed including Purchase Order, Product Specification, and ERP
Occasional backup coverage for inbound/outbound auditing at Loves Park distribution center
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Successful and timely completion of all assigned tasks and objectives.
Effective problem solving through critical thinking techniques.
Effective communication, both inside and outside of the department.
Attendance and punctuality record.

40 hours Mon-Fri 7:30AM-4:30PM
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Educational & Technical Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)
Ability to use computer equipment and software applications (Microsoft office products, IQ, Project Tracker).
Ability to use calibrated measuring equipment including a comparator, caliper, weight scales, and all basic quality tools.
Familiar with ANSI sampling plans and general quality theories outlined by ASQ.
Structured, systematic work skills and habits required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
ASQ Certification Preferred or 1-2 years quality inspection experience
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to work independently without direct supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Lifting due to inspection of product (to 50 lbs.)
Standing/stooping while inspecting product.
High energy level to meet deadlines/schedule.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with overtime.
