JOB SUMMARY

Set-up and maintain assembly line orders. Report progress/issues/improvements to department lead and supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Lead personnel on assigned assembly line.

· Monitor efficiency and quality during the assembly and packing process.

· Set-up 1st piece sample. 

· Maintain all paperwork and procedures for each order.

· Removal of all excess material from assigned line each day. 

· Review and recommend production layout changes for continuous productivity and work flow improvements.

· Lead and report performance for assembly line process.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

· Timely completion of production orders to meet siffron’s commitments to customers

· Successful leadership of Production Kitting line employees 

· Recording and reporting of work performed in Kitting area

· Attendance and punctuality record

· Productivity of the assigned assembly line

· Accuracy in finished product

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

· Responsible for directing 3-4 individuals with assistance from Lead Assist, Production Lead, or Production Manager. 

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Regular attendance is expected and required.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma 

· 3-5 years of warehouse/production experience

· Knowledge of all types of kitting systems

· Computer experience 

SKILLS (Language, Mathematical, Reasoning, Other)

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Good leadership skills

· Good math and problem-solving skills

· Ability to adapt to change

· Ability to work independently with little supervision

· Ability to work necessary daily overtime and weekends to keep department organized and up to pace with customer orders
