IT Technical Support Specialist

Sierra ITS partners with many local municipalities that require full-time, on-site technical staff to support users. We're currently adding a full time IT Support Technician to join our staff that provides support to the Village of Schaumburg, based at their village headquarters.

You'll join our current team that provides primarily hands-on support (some email/phone) to their 600 local users, including first responders when needed. Technologies include Active Directory, Win 7/10, O365, IE/Chrome, VMware, Custom Applications, and Mobile devices.

REQUIRED:

• 5 years of corporate hands-on IT support
• Active Directory support
• Expert level laptop/PC support
• User-centric communication skills
• Government experience a plus

This is a full-time contract position (M-F, 8AM - 4PM), with renewals on a yearly basis. It's as stable (actually more) than most positions with several of our employees having worked with on this team for the last 5 years. The position pays a quality hourly rate.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
