The Department of Nursing at Siena College invites applications for the position of the Nursing Department Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant's primary role is to support the operation of the Nursing Department. Responsibilities include performing administrative and secretarial duties of a complex and confidential nature in support of the CCNE accredited nursing programs. The Administrative Assistant will also provide support related to clinical and laboratory requirements for the nursing program(s), serve as a point of contact for admissions inquiries, tours, and will provide support to the nursing faculty and students. This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports to the Chair of the Nursing Department, and provides a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

A minimum of an Associate's degree is required for this position. Proficiency in all MS Office Professional Suite applications is also required. The ideal applicant should have well-developed oral and written communication skills, and excellent organizational and analytical skills. One to two years of professional experience with Banner Enterprise Resource Planning system is preferred. Additional desirable qualifications include excellent attention to detail, customer service experience, ability to balance multiple projects, and flexibility to learn new methodologies, technologies, and systems. Specifically, applicants should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
