Position Description: SUMMARY:
Purchasing Analyst functions as the link between our company and its vendors and improve efficiency through cost reduction, steady pricing, apt payment issuance and uninterrupted flow of goods and materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor shipments to guarantee on-time delivery
Provide quotes, lead times, price, and minimum buy information
Purchase the highest quality goods and materials at the least possible cost -in correct quantities
Develop demand forecast for new products based on previous sales
Work with sales representative, purchasing agents, and engineering department on new and existing sales opportunities
Review cost effectiveness of buying and shipping terms; secure additional cost savings
Accurately report all project milestones to top management
Prepare daily reports to maintain accuracy of all purchases
Build partnership, visually inspect product at all locations as needed
Solicit bid proposals
Maintain complete supplier information sheets
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Frequent stooping, bending, standing, use of hands and fingers
Occasional exposure to non -temperature control environment
Moderate noise exposure
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years Technical Data review experience
Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management and buying practices
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work without supervision. Promote teamwork.

Attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SAP, ERP or LogNet desirable
Client may request assessment test with a score of 80% or higher prior to job offer
EDUCATION
Associates Degree
Minimum 3 years supply chain experience
