This is a contract for hire position.
This position pay $14 per hour.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensure everything is prepped before the start of service
· Use specialized kitchen tools to prepare essential ingredients and create a finished product for the restaurant
· Set up and stock his or her station before the start of each service
· Prep food each day and follow standardized recipes
· Comply with Health Department regulations and safety standards
· Serve and prepare food of the highest quality
· Make sure food is ready at the right time, in the right order, and at the right temperature
· Meet required ticket times for appetizers, entrees, and desserts
· Cleaning his or her station and may be asked to help other cooks clean up their stations.
· Help the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with their daily tasks such as preparing food items by performing tasks such as (but not limited to), cutting, chopping, mixing, preparing sauces, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
· Assist with customer satisfaction and acquisition goals
· Stock inventory appropriately
Required Skills/Abilities:
· 1 year of experience in similar position

· The ability to follow recipes and guidelines to maintain quality, standardization, and meeting or exceeding expectation
