Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Duties: - Process accounts payable and receivable transactions - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries - Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures - Assist with payroll management, including processing timesheets and ensuring accurate calculations - Support the preparation of financial reports and statements - Assist with tax-related tasks, such as gathering documentation and preparing tax returns - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues - Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies Experience: - Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred - Familiarity with accounting software, such as UltiPro or Ceridian, is a plus - Strong mathematical skills and understanding of debits and credits - Knowledge of basic financial concepts and principles - Experience with accounts payable processes and procedures - Exposure to public accounting practices is beneficial Skills: - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively - Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Good communication skills, both written and verbal If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team and gain valuable experience in the field of accounting, we encourage you to apply.
