Position Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the HR department and own the company recruiting and hiring strategy including the full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy and action plan
  • Source candidates by using various sourcing strategies
  • Conduct onboarding process and new hire orientation
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs related to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance management; culture and morale; and training and development.
  • Participate in employee relations events including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Provide support to managers and employees and resolve issues that may arise.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Some human resources experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
