Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $52,000.00 /year

Position Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with an hour for lunch

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and attorneys to manage and adhere to deadlines.
  • Advocate for clients, aiding in informed decision-making.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other relevant parties.
  • Manage case assignments, monitor progress, and maintain organized case files.
  • Handle discovery and exhibits.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting documents for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
  • Digest and flag issues and inconsistencies found throughout vital case points.
  • Assist clients in obtaining medical care and support services.
  • Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations.

Skills

  • REQUIRED: 2 Years Experience as a Litigation Paralegal (Litigation experience in either family law or personal injury preferred)
  • REQUIRED: Paralegal certificate
  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Compassion for clients and a strong desire to assist
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
