- Manage daily operations to ensure loads go smooth, on time and all details are attended to, including rate negotiation, scheduling, timely communication, and sourcing carriers/tracking loads
- Accurately enter detailed data for each customer, carrier and load into Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Build and maintain customer/carrier relationships; Collaborate with your team on pricing strategies for new business
- Provide exceptional service ensuring all customer needs are met with integrity and professionalism
- Highly effective problem solving, negotiating and organizational skills with a customer service focus
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
- Must enjoy working in a team setting
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in freight brokerage industry, markets and TMS programs preferred
- Some evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
