SFA Companies is Hiring a Sales Account Manager Near Kansas, MO

Job description

About the Company

We are a global company with our U.S. sales offices based in Kansas City, MO. SFA Companies is located by the KCI Airport. We are a leading distributor of hydraulic lift equipment and automotive accessories in the Northern America. Our markets include professional, industrial and retail outlets.

About the Opportunity

This role is dedicated to increasing sales and market share through effective relationship building and lead generation with potential prospects and existing clients. We are looking for ambitious, energetic, talented people to join our team, impress our customers, and drive our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to expand the market share with medium to large national accounts.
  • Create business plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets
  • Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reporting
  • Provide regular and timely observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting
  • Manage forecast accuracy and align with Product Management
  • Manage channel and inventory levels for optimization
  • Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth
  • Manage tasks with support from Inside Sales team
  • Supports additional projects and accounts as needed
  • Travel for customer visits and trade shows as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in the automotive aftermarket especially industrial fluid power sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience working hands on with accounts is required
  • Demonstration of intellect, resourcefulness, drive, and sales acumen
  • High level of creative thinking while maintaining awareness of independent judgement
  • Knowledge of complex customer relations and various different styles of go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical information
  • Self-motivated performer with a solid track record
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation abilities
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office

Bachelor's Degree required
