Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Rate: $2800 Weekly
Shift: 40hrs - 5x8hrs - Days - (Monday - Friday)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will provide specialized care and support to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Your role will involve administering medication, monitoring patients' conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their physical and emotional well-being, and document observations
- Collaborate with physicians, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and self-care techniques
- Assist in managing symptoms such as pain, nausea, and fatigue
- Perform procedures such as phlebotomy and administer injections
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NC.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing or related field
- CPR certification required
