Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU

Rate: $3600 Weekly

Shift: 48hrs - 4x12hrs - D/E/N Rotating Shift

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at our hospital in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and implementing care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and individualized patient care.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-care instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Neuro ICU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
