Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and finance? We are currently seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as an Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately
Generate and send out invoices to customers
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues
Communicate with customers regarding payment status and overdue accounts
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing
Qualifications:
Minimum of Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in accounts receivable or accounting software is a plus but not required
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive hourly wage of $16-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
