Job Description:
Servpro is in the business of emergency restoration. This is a highly specialized field of work that aims to restore homes and business that have been damaged or destroyed by all kinds of disasters such as floods, fire damage, smoke damage, mold, and anything else that can be conceived of. Servpro saves businesses and homes from the brink of destruction and saves our customers’ most important possessions. As a Business Development Representative, your role is to facilitate important relationships between SERVPRO and potential clients and customers. This is a relationship building career. Unlike most other industries, SERVPRO does not have a product we are trying to push on people that may or may not need it. We have an emergency service for when disaster strikes their home or business. As such, the job of the Business Development Representative is to forge strong relationships with key individuals so that WHEN disaster strikes, they think of YOU and call SERVPRO.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily communication with centers of influence (insurance agents, property managers, business, ect.) Developing rapport and relationships with current and potential clients. Work with small in-house team to set and achieve goals. Be active with networking and social media accounts. Face to face meetings, hitting the bricks each day.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily communication with COIs on resolving concerns: Face-to-face, phone, or email.
  • Set up closing appointments.
  • Maintain assigned contact lists.
  • Increase sales revenue and achieve sales goals
  • Complete emergency ready profiles and discuss benefits of emergency event preparation.
  • Participate in professional development thru online training and on the job training.
  • Understand and comply with safety and risk management guidelines in the office and while traveling.
  • Manage and improve customer satisfaction, including the resolution of any customer complaints.
Qualifications:
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Solid organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment while being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Experience with professional sales or marketing associations, a plus
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Drivers License required
