Description
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth and optimizing marketing strategies. The Specialist will demonstrate extensive experience in business development strategies and marketing, and will identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain key accounts, which may include establishing relationships with commercial businesses, such as property management, hotels, municipal emergency service agencies, facility management, plumbers, building contractors and restoration management.
• Build strong relationships with current and potential commercial and residential clients through one-on-one visits, organized events, and cold calling.
• Present the Service Restoration mission of high-quality work and fast response times to minimize secondary damage and the benefit that has to our accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new accounts, facilitating effective communication and understanding of client needs.
• Work with the sales team & department leaders to offer feedback, solutions, and ideas on how to improve processes.
• Represent Service Restoration at industry relevant events.
• Help develop materials that effectively communicate the value proposition.
• Utilize CRM system to track prospects, leads, referrals, and existing relationships.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to describe the restoration process and equipment necessary to perform the restoration work.
• Strong communication skills and extroverted personality to build rapport quickly.
• Confidence while representing the company and making introductions.
• Driven to grow a career by being results oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check.
