Role TitleHuman Resources Business Partner ManagerHuman Resources Manager Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role that provides a broad range of services and support to an assigned group of store locations, supporting our people initiatives, business objectives and strategic goals. The position serves as primary point person and consultant to associates and leaders on human resources related topics and issues. Acting as an associate champion and change agent, the role assesses and anticipates HR related needs, communicates proactively with the HR team and delivers value-added services. We will be quick to respond to our customers and use “Red Truck Service” when additional assistance is needed.Duties/ResponsibilitiesServe customers, associates, vendors and partners while modeling Sendik’s culture and providing “best in class” customer serviceWorks closely with leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvides coaching and guidance to leaders; meets on a regular, consistent basis to drive people practices and a high level of associate engagementFacilitates and delivers various HR related information to leaders and associates as neededActs as a liaison for talent including involvement in internal moves, staffing and succession planningManages and resolves complex associate relations issues; conducts effective, thorough investigations.Engages in the anniversary and performance review process with leaders; provides regular performance management guidance to managers (e.g. coaching, career development, disciplinary actions), makes compensation related recommendations and encourages the use of other reward and recognition toolsCollaborate with HR team members to deliver required expertise, resources and services to drive initiativesSupports the implementation of HR programs, communication and initiativesProvides HR policy guidance and interpretationFacilitates new hire orientation and new leader onboarding sessions; manages specific leader onboarding plans accordinglyVisible in store locations focused on answering associate questions, developing a working relationship to assist in furthering associate engagement and is the HR point person.Assist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as neededComplete other miscellaneous duties as assignedData Analytics Responsibilities: Analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for continuous improvementSupport in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of departments compared to established goals or benchmarking.Provide strategic workforce planning for customers to anticipate and identify recruitment and potential experience gaps, and department succession planningIdentify and recommend participation in area and industry surveys; serve as a liaison for support and administration Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Human Resources with a working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplinesCertification from an accredited human resources industry leader/association such as PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designations preferred3 plus years’ of progressively responsible, related human resources experience.Experience in supporting hourly associate client groups preferredStrong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills; strong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the teamStrong sense of urgency and ability to handle sensitive informationExcellent time management, attention to detail, prioritization and organization skillsAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerAbility to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, procedures to continuously improve Comfortable working in a high volume, fast paced environment and not afraid to roll up your sleevesUnderstanding of state and federal employment lawsAbility to lift a maximum of 50 lbsBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
