My Daily Activities Let Sendik’s be your main squeeze! As a Produce Lead you will have exposure to all areas of the department. You’ll assist our customers with selecting from an array of delicious products, ensure the produce walls and sales floor are stocked with the products our customers love, assist with cutting, packing and pricing products and ensuring that the team is accomplishing all daily tasks. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and safe environment for all of our associates and we work together to accomplish this goal. Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age due to required operation of Produce equipmentPrior experience with produce within a grocery store setting, as well as leadership experience is requiredProficient knife-handling skills, especially while preparing large quantities of produceAbility to successfully lead, coach, train, develop and motivate a teamAbility to provide clear direction and delegate responsibilities to a team after determining department needsAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient manner Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
