Seasons Village, Inc. is Hiring a Program Director Near Raleigh, NC

PROGRAM MANAGER: Raleigh, NC

Seasons Village is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to empower single mothers and their children towards intergenerational prosperity. By eliminating educational barriers, increasing household income, and fostering community connections, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment of belonging and support within our "village." Our focus on family wellbeing aims for lasting impact by supporting mothers in obtaining post-secondary credentials, enhancing economic mobility, and paving the way for generational wealth. As the overseer of our Pathways to Prosperity (P2P) program, you will champion long-term commitment and personalized assistance to drive meaningful change for our families. As a Program Manager at Seasons Village, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational success of our programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for various key aspects, including program development, recruiting families through referrals, managing the intake process, ensuring smooth program delivery, overseeing volunteer management, maintaining quality control, and conducting evaluation and data collection to assess the impact of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

Leadership:

∙ Serve as the main point of contact for Seasons Village coaches, program participants, and volunteers.

∙ Work with Seasons Village families and their coaches to provide oversight, accountability, and leadership through all phases of the programming.

∙ Develop curriculum for the children's program ages 6 weeks - age 13, and adapt as the Seasons Village programming expands.

∙ Develop instructions and guidelines (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Seasons Village Coaches. Adapt as the Seasons Village programming expands.

∙ Cultivate and expand relationships with the goal of ensuring a pipeline of referrals for volunteers or participants.

∙ Along with the Executive Director, develop relationships with area businesses to provide mentors and job placement opportunities and internships for Seasons Village mothers.

∙ Develop program goals.

Employee/Volunteer Management and Development:

∙ Lead the training and orientation program for dedicated volunteers who support Seasons Village families, including curriculum facilitators, family coaches, and childcare providers. Manage the organization and upkeep of volunteer records, including conducting background checks, and ensuring that all volunteers sign confidentiality and liability agreements for the safety and security of everyone involved.

∙ Facilitate professional training and onboarding for new volunteers as they join the Seasons Village team.

∙ Develop and support volunteer teams, fostering a culture of responsibility and commitment.

∙ Supervise interns and program staff

Program Operational Management:

∙ Execute and manage the Pathways to Prosperity Program, providing monthly assessment reports.

∙ Manage the program’s budget and expenses.

∙ Develop and uphold clear and impartial program performance benchmarks to ensure accountability among program participants.

∙ Develop methods and criteria to measure impact, maintain program and participant data, and implement data tracking systems.

∙ Collaborate with the Executive Director to make enhancements to the Pathways to Prosperity Program as needed to drive ongoing progress and development for advancement and growth.

Qualifications:

∙ Minimum education of an undergraduate degree level, in social work or related field.

∙ Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 3 years of experience in social work, nonprofit, or related fields, with a focus on supporting women and children in marginalized communities.

∙ Proven track record in a supervisory capacity within an agency dedicated to serving the needs of women and children.

∙ Independent worker who is self-motivated and has a passion for empowering women.

∙ Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models.

∙ Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

∙ Demonstrated proficiency in delivering engaging presentations to diverse audiences, effectively conveying the organization's mission and key messages.

∙ Proficient in administrative tasks with a proven ability to understand and value organizational systems and structures..∙ Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool. Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Canva, or other related design software.

∙ The Program Manager’s core values should align with those of Seasons Village: wellness, connectedness, growth, respect, stewardship, and equity advocacy.
