SCOUT DISTRIBUTION | ROUTE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Scout Distribution an independently owned craft beer and wine distributor. Building brands and providing exceptional customer service.

We are looking for full-time customer service-oriented Route Sales Representatives with an emphasis on grocery/liquor chain accounts. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes and to drive distribution and volume in assigned accounts to achieve monthly business objectives and open new accounts in assigned territory.

The assigned territory of this position is the East Valley.

Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining & opening new accounts in Phoenix on your route.
• Effectively sell Scout's portfolio in all accounts.
• Routinely visit accounts for re-orders and take inventory.
• Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
• Evaluate customer needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all decision makers in each account.
• Maintain a high level of industry knowledge.
• Support the rotating and merchandising of product.
• Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing the monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.
• Fills coolers, warm shelves, displays; and rotates back stock.
• Upon returning to the warehouse verifies load-in, organizes paperwork from deliveries and places them in safe.
• Keeps inside of truck clean and complies with notifications for routine maintenance of tractor being used.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Maintain a current/valid Driver’s License
• Must have a clean driving record
• Great communication skills
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to read code dates proficiently
• Must be able to work holidays
• Previous beverage industry experience

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to (50) lbs. for package product and up to (170) lbs. for keg product
• Ability to operate various types of machinery to include, but not limited to forklifts, lift trucks, hand trucks, etc.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
