Scottsdale Arts was established in 1987 as a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) and has evolved into an organization with six dynamic operating departments that span the visual and performing arts, arts education and cultural engagement. Through its six departments, Scottsdale Arts offers diverse, high-quality arts experiences to hundreds of thousands of Scottsdale residents and visitors annually in addition to fostering the active engagement of government, business, education, and the private sector in the arts.

· Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/hour DOE
· Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, must be able to work occasional evenings

Requirements
Here is what you will need to be successful:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1. Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in office, clerical or customer service oriented position. Human Resources experience preferred
3. Attributes:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Must possess strong oral and written professional communication skills to respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers. Superior public relations and interpersonal skills required.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
· Familiarity with various types of office equipment is required. Intermediate proficiency in computer software programs such as word processing, spread sheets, data base and internet research.
· Ability to forecast schedule to meet needs of organization or departments served; plan for reoccurring events and project needs to ensure that departments run smoothly.
· Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality possible in a workplace setting.
4. Work Environment: Must be able to stand and walk for short periods of time; sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Specific hearing abilities include ability to hear over phone and in person.
