Our client is a Technical Resource company supporting development and deployment on Green Energy Solutions projects. A fantastic opportunity exists for a Senior Process Engineer/Technical Advisor. Full time, direct hire position working on a hybrid work module.

Job Summary:

To work as a Senior Process Engineer/Technical Advisor in the Process Team. Duties, roles and responsibilities are listed below.

Duties:

• The Process Senior Technical Advisor oversees one or more projects or proposals and provides technical leadership and coordination on a routine basis.
• Is hands-on while directing and monitoring and if necessary, reporting challenges to the VP of Projects on budgets, schedules and staffing.
• May act as Lead Engineer on a major project.
• Has responsibility for supporting the sales efforts, technical development, technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Process Senior Technical Advisor will provide significant input on the improvement of department procedures, quality of the department’s methods and deliverables, safety and environmental design practices and liaison with other departments.
• Additionally, the Process Senior Technical Advisor may be required to affix their PE stamp to process documents (not essential to have PE License but would be preferred).
• The Process Senior Technical Advisor acts as problem solver/trouble shooter for Process Managers and Lead Engineers.
• The Process Senior Technical Advisor may assist in the annual performance appraisals process and assist in the development of other process engineers and shall be capable of representing the Company to Clients.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• PE License Preferred

Required Skills and Experience:

• Over 10 years of experience
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience, preferably managing the process design work on mid to large projects and having extensive exposure to other company department functions.
• Specific expertise and proven track record with pre-FEED, FEED, EPC.
• Broad experience preferably including ammonia (or syngas) production and experience with process related to green energy or minimization of carbon footprint.
• Excellent communication skillset, both written and oral
• Willingness to travel
