Description

• Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to inventory, standard costs, and/or accounting.
• Continually improve processes to reduce complexity, speed closing and forecasting activities, improve accuracy, etc 
• Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor 
• Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided to determine effects on costs
• Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
• Maintaining Cost Accounting System (iScala/IFS)
• Review work orders and validate production quantities.
• Directs physical inventories and monitors cycle count program; includes reconciliation of physical inventory to book inventory.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly management reports.
• Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies to support sales team with product costing on new business developments.
• Maintain pricing models for sales team.
• Conforms with all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
• Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION: BA/BS in Accounting or Business related field.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: MBA

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience should include 4 years of accounting in a manufacturing environment with international operations, including standard cost accounting, inventory control, account reconciliations, general ledger and reporting experience.
