Description
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies. Reviews Sales and COGS, Project Revenue and Project Cost. Prepares Monthly and Quarterly reports for location and Corporate.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BA/BS in Accounting.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience should include 4 years of accounting in a manufacturing environment with international operations, including fixed asset accounting, general ledger and financial statement preparation experience. Or, 3 years with a public accounting firm working with Manufacturing clients.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPA

PRIMARY DUTIES

1 Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and/or accounting.
2 Continually improve finance processes to reduce complexity, speed closing and forecasting activities, improve accuracy, etc.
3 Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records
4 Prepares Monthly and Quarterly required Excel based and close related Corporate Reporting.
5 Prepares Balance Sheet Reconciliations
6 Assists internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
7 Responsible for non-product related invoicing (including milestone and Project Accounting)
8 Responsible to support project accounting costs
9 Assists in preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
10 Assists in the preparation of monthly management reports
11 Assists with the annual audited financial statements and tax returns
12 Conforms with all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
13 Responsible for Vendor Management
14 Responsible for Supplier Management
15 Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned
