Description
The Injection Molding Engineer is responsible for the performance results of Injection Molding Machines and Maintenance Support. The selected individual will be viewed as a key technology leader and serve as a resource for all platforms with overall accountability for injection molding systems, maintenance and manufacturing problem resolution, and change management. This individual will also work with site leadership to achieve performance measurement goals, and to drive safety and the continuous improvement process.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BS in Engineering with 7 years in roles that show progression in Engineering, Maintenance or Operations roles in a plastic manufacturing environment.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Experience working on Plastic injection molding machines and systems, manufacturing environment, people leadership experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
QUALIFICATIONS: Competency in employee engagement, excellent interpersonal effectiveness and an efficient communicator in verbal, and written formats, exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, passion for excellence, teamwork, and desire to succeed

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to work in seasonal temperatures near moving mechanical parts and at times work in high, precarious places also where the sound and noise levels are loud and distracting. Employee must wear protective items such as safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection.
