Schermer is seeking our next great Senior Project Manager! As a Senior Project Manager, you must be able to manage a large multi-faceted project or multiple projects at the same time. You will act as a critical point of contact for the client by leading project team meetings, ensuring follow-up of action items, and escalating issues when required. This is not a remote position; we need you in our Minneapolis offices at least three days a week.
The Sr PM is responsible for developing estimates and detailed schedules, managing resources, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure deliverables and dates are communicated, planned, understood and executed. Equally important is the evaluation and measurement of the projects’ performance both during and at completion.
We are looking for a PM who is skilled at getting the best out of the people and the projects that they lead and find great satisfaction in driving both the internal and client team to success. Here are the specific qualifications we’re looking for:

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within an agency (that last bit is important)
• Experience managing the client deliverables and interfacing with the client team
• Experience working with teams across all disciplines, including strategy, creative, digital marketing, and development
• Proven understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed project plans, perform resource allocations and run team meetings
• Demonstrated ability to inspire teamwork and take a leadership role on the project
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to multitask and succinct but complete notetaking and follow-up
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products including SharePoint, Teams, Excel and Word
• Experience working with Workamajig or similar PM tools
• Ability to balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident demeanor, especially in stressful or pressured situations
• Collaborate with the broader team to continuously optimize the agency’s workflow, tools, and processes
