**General Social and Digital Media Coordinator @ Luz Collective**

Luz Collective is here to tell Latina stories and invest in their potential. We redefine and reclaim what it means to be a US Latina and we are seeking a part-time Intern. Our ideal candidate is creative, ambitious, social-justice oriented, loves digital media and marketing, and is highly motivated to increase the presence of Latinas in mainstream media and in our nations collective consciousness. Responsibilities Find and publish daily content on various Luz Collective social media accounts, as assigned, that builds meaningful connections with our audience and amplifies Luz Collectives key message of Latina empowerment. Community management on assigned platforms Monitor weekly reports of social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and submit creative ideas for audience growth Copywriting for social media posts Possible photography and graphic design tasks that include off-site photography locations Various administrative duties on occasion related to e-commerce such as customer emails, updating products, trouble-shooting store issues, and related. Occasional administrative tasks such as email, scheduling and travel planning assistance, and various other activities. Research and vetting of social media influencer accounts Assisting Department leads with project management tasks, as assigned Requirements Excellent writing, editing, and communication with impeccable grammar and proofreading skills Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and research skills Strong interest or experience in social justice topics, issues, and trends Expertise with various social media platforms. Emphasis on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Social analytics tools knowledge, Hootsuite or Sprout Social a plus Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability Ability to learn new platforms and products quickly if you dont know something, the willingness and ability to figure it out is essential.
