Scentsy is looking for an Agile Project Manager to execute and advance Scentsy’s Agile framework for technology teams and projects. Through servant leadership and facilitation, APM’s work to minimize the impact of impediments, create meaningful KPIs, and build trusting relationships.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a facilitator for Agile teams by organizing Agile ceremonies, enforcing timelines, and facilitating discussions that lead to effective decision-making and conflict resolution
• Support Program and Product Managers with management of project scope and deliverables from inception to implementation
• Guide team application of Agile “Best Practices” and values while maintaining and growing team dynamic
• Assess the Agile maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
• Work with project stakeholders to understand priorities for products, IT initiatives, group backlog, and technical debt and how those priorities impact deliverables and dates
• Manage customer expectations and stakeholder communications by ensuring transparency and visibility of project progress, risks, and impediments
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments, technical or organizational, by finding the right personnel for each situation
• Create performance metrics that are consistent with those of the overall IT initiatives and maintain transparency into the team’s work
• Establish Agile project plans, monitor progress, and create mitigation strategies to effectively execute projects using tools, such as burndown and velocity charts, project progress reports, reviews, and retrospectives
• Educate Managers, Product Owners, and Systems Analysts on backlog best practices such as refinement, prioritization, and maintaining the product backlog
• Deliver workshops, presentations, and facilitations that help guide the organization towards process improvement/maturity
• Mentor team members, management, and business stakeholders on all aspects of Agile project management

We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years of experience working in a technology environment using Agile
• 3 years of Agile Project Management or Scrum Master experience
• Experience working with various engineering disciplines and dispersed teams, delivering to a strategy via incremental releases with a blend of business and technical knowledge
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models and AWS Cloud technology and concepts
• Solid understanding of IT Operational project management and system migrations
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence as an Administrator preferred
• Experience using LucidChart/LucidSpark preferred
• Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Agile Project Management Practitioner (AgilePM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) a plus
