Job DescriptionAs a Business Development Representative for the #1 Commercial Cleaning company in the US, your primary goal will be to develop trusted new business relationships, while driving both recurring and one-time sales contracts across a wide geographic territory. With extensive training, strong support teams, and lead-gen assistance, our Business Development Representatives develop the skills to sell with confidence. Additionally, the compensation package includes a base salary, car and phone allowances, benefits like 401(k), PTO, and Health/Dental/Vision, as well as an UNCAPPED commission plan. Therefore, earning potential is unlimited. Lastly, as part of the fastest growing brand in the US, the right candidate will have opportunities to develop into management positions and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the entire sales process, including prospecting, management of self-generated and company provided leads, proposal development, contract and pricing negotiations, RFP
    responses, delivery of customized presentations and post close contract implementation
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans within a designated geographic territory, to achieve company growth objectives, increased market share and positioning of
    Stratus’ local presence and comprehensive solutions across diverse industries
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business partnerships
  • Stay up to date on industry and market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify innovative business opportunities
  • Continuously assess and report on sales cycle activity, pipeline development and sales goal tracking through the use of the CRM tool (HubSpot) and ongoing communication to senior
    leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Franchise Business Consultants, Office Managers, and the Regional Director to learn about the client's needs, position Stratus’ comprehensive solutions, and deliver a seamless transition of trust with the operational partner – the Franchise Owner

Qualifications

Must possess the following:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Strong sales skills, quantified by either a proven B2B track record or SBS sales assessment test
  • Even if you are new to sales or looking to start, we will train you in innovative strategies as well as tried and true sales techniques that will build the skills and experience needed to
    succeed in any sales role.
  • Ability to generate leads by cold calling and networking
  • Ability to help set goals that meet or exceed the company targets
  • Ability to build relationships and nurture prospects
  • Persuasive ability to overcome objections and CLOSE SALES

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Team-oriented sales professional that thrives in collaborating with operations partners and building relationships
  • Skilled at brand development using professional networks, local and national associations, and social media tools
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, oral and written, and adept in creating and delivering compelling presentations
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively plan cold calling, in person client meetings, reporting and goal achievement
  • Ability to travel throughout all areas of the territory, including some overnight travel
  • Previous experience with a CRM (IE Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) and google-based apps

Compensation and Benefits

Total Compensation Range of $90,000 to $125,000 per year

  • Base Salary Range of $55,000 to $60,000 per year to commensurate with experience
  • Commission Range of $10,000 to $25,000 - uncapped potential, paid monthly and quarterly
  • Monthly Car Allowance of $4,200 per year ($350 per month)
  • Tax Free Phone Reimbursement of $900 per year ($75 per month)
  • Taxes and Benefits - $15,000 to $30,000 per year - varies by state and selections of healthcare, 401(k), PTO and employer withholding, etc. 
  • Healthcare options - Medical, Minimum Essential Coverage, Vision and Dental - subject to eligibility
  • 401(k) Enrollment - subject to eligibility
  • UNCAPPED COMMISSION for unlimited earning potential
