This professional will also serve as the dedicated LSHI BD resource for a niche group of lawyers under the LSHI umbrella, with a specific focus on promoting client successes internally, and assisting with external brand awareness, including awards submissions, conference speaking engagements, and client alerts. In particular, this person will work closely with a Chicago-based team widely regarded as a leader in the compounding sector, representing coalitions of compounding pharmacies and outsourcing facilities to challenge FDA, state regulators, or other regulatory bodies on critical issues defining the industry.

This professional will handle pitches and proposals, bio updates, the coordination of events, webinars, and sponsorships, social media promotion, and other marketing and internal communications. This position will also be responsible for administrative needs. He/she will coordinate requests for client/prospect research, business intelligence, and graphic design from relevant teams, and significantly support the BD responsibilities associated with firm awards submissions such as Chambers, Legal 500 and LMG Life Sciences.

  • Edit marketing collateral, including practice area descriptions and attorney biographies for print, website and intranet; facilitate posting updates to firm website and intranet as required.
  • Work with the LSHI group and related practice teams/task forces to help prepare and edit drafts of various industry survey and directory submissions, plus maintain repositories of information on practice group accolades and awards.
  • Assist in coordination of Client’s participation in, and sponsorship of, local and national conferences. Responsibilities would include handling attorney reservations or RSVPs, and coordinating and submitting advertisements, giveaways, logos, check requests, and other materials as needed for sponsorships and other external activities.
  • Assist in coordinating Client-hosted client seminars and events. Responsibilities would include development of invitations and invite lists, coordinating with venues on logistics, coordinating speaker calls, and assisting with event materials, event promotion, and day-of event needs.
  • Collect and maintain attorney experience and client information in Firmwide experience databases and client relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Work closely with LSHI attorneys to draft, edit and coordinate posts for the LSHI LinkedIn Showcase page.
