About the job
The Midtier Platform team in the SAS9 division is looking for a Principal Software Developer. The Midtier team is large in both size and scope.This team will contribute to all midtier Java efforts and support all partner engineer teams in both the current SAS9 team and LOBs. Their primary functions will be to secure the platform and respond to field issues. This team will also need to modernize frameworks, update delivery configurations and deployments, and automate testing to all extents possible. The work by this team is fast-paced and the impact spans across multiple SAS9 releases, ship events, solution teams, and divisions. In this role you will architect. design, and develop new and existing code. You will lead and provide guidance to junior developers. You will also help troubleshoot and triage issues and interact with SAS Technical Support to assist customers.
