About the job

The Manager of Business Operations is responsible for leading a team of software developers to design, develop, and debug software solutions that meet our company’s quality and business expectations. The position manages one or more teams in Technical Support dedicated to the creation and support of business technology and system integrations. Manages staff engaged in roles that directly support business operations to achieve the organization's strategic goals.

As a Manager, Business Operations, you will: 

  • Lead and manage a team of software developers to deliver high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with managers, developers, user interface and visual designers, product managers, business analysts and other project stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of the product by setting the vision and direction.
  • Leads the implementation of strategic initiatives and programs that drive organizational effectiveness; contributes to organization planning and strategy.
  • Maintains organizational objectives and goals; organizes, prioritizes and assigns projects in conjunctions with regional and corporate goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining operations and drives implementation of initiatives related to these opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation of “what’s new” and other essential product documentation.
  • Work closely with CIS and ServiceNow team to configure and improve core and customized applications.

Required qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or related experience
  • Requires 8 years of Professional Experience 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team of software developers.
  • Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Proven experience in leading software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow development practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with product ownership and setting product vision and direction
