Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc seeks an Technology Senior Consultant at our Reston, VA location to be responsible for detailed planning and execution of IT- implementations.

Expectations and Tasks:

Possess detailed knowledge of relevant SAP and non-SAP technologies including databases, software stacks and infrastructure components. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Implement and support the operation of technical system landscapes. Support setup and connectivity of integrated system landscapes (OnPremise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies. IT process implementation across all related IT-components. IT components-specific expert consulting. Support for system optimization. Support for solution proposals and bid management. Take over responsibility from time to time as a (sub-)project lead and also take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Telecommuting permitted.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field of study and 5 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 3 years in the following: Development design and troubleshooting of Workflow application using JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL; Develop, customize and troubleshoot LMS(Learning Management System) applications – assigning training, creating custom connectors, tracking learning history; Struts and Spring; Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and deploy integrations using Netweaver Process Integration, HANA Cloud Integration Platform or Dell Boomi Atomsphere; Oversee technical integration workshops with customers and contribute to integration strategy; Provide technical expertise to customers on SAP Cloud Platform Integrations; SAP Cloud Connector, Groovy Scripting, XML parsing, XSLT, Successfactors API, OData API’s, HRData API’s, Encryption, SFTP, Shell Scripts, LDAP Protocols; Extensions using SAP Cloud Platform for SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding and LMS.
